Hello fellow travelers!

Thank you for your interest in one of our trips!

We have several types of trips.

Group Trip-  This just means that I have group space for my clients.  This could mean that there is special pricing or added perks.   For cruises and all-inclusive resorts, you may never know you are traveling with a group.  You do not have to spend time with others in the group. Of course, on tours we will be traveling with our group and it could be part of a larger group.

Guided Trips- These are traditional tours.  Some may be just our group, or we may be part of a larger group.

Hosted Trips- These trips have a group leader that will be your contact during the trip.  These leaders may be one of the agents from Vacations by Tara or they could be a specialist in the area or theme.  For example, we could have a wine expert host a river cruise in Europe. For most of these, there will be some group dinners, excursions, and more.

**For these trips to be hosted we may have to have a certain number of people for the trip.  Please also understand that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, a group might not be hosted at the last minute.  However, we have made sure to book you with reliable companies who will take good care of you in case our host is not able to make it at the last minute.  You will also have an emergency contact number for your travel agent if you need any assistance while traveling.

Come With Me Trips- This means that the "host" is going because they had an interest in the destination.  They may choose to host some dinners or excursions but this is technically their vacation, they just wanted company!

We also do group trips for families, organizations, class reunions, fundraisers or trainings/annual meetings.  Please contact us to set up a group for you.
